Website Design

I have hands-on experience building and maintaining websites on platforms like Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress. I’ve worked on a variety of projects, from revamping existing websites to building new ones from scratch. Notable projects include Jojo’s Apothecary, a dreamy website for an herbal apothecary, and High Desert K9 Police Association, a well-organized site designed to make trainings, events, and team resources easily accessible. Along the way, I’ve committed to learning HTML and CSS to deepen my understanding of website tools and customize sites for my clients. Whether you need a fresh design, technical updates, or a custom-built site, I’m here to create user-friendly, professional websites that are both functional and visually appealing.

Jojo’s Apothecary

I had the pleasure of designing a custom website for Jojo's Apothecary, a small business dedicated to handcrafted tallow balms and herbal remedies. The design focuses on creating an intuitive experience that allows visitors to easily explore and purchase products. The brand’s soft purples and herbal illustrations bring a dreamy feel to the website. From seamless navigation to beautifully organized product pages, this project emphasizes clean aesthetics with a calming touch. Watch the video tour below to see how the site comes to life!

High Desert Police
K-9 Association

For the High Desert K9 Police Association, I designed a highly functional website to serve as a central hub for both members and visitors. The site highlights key areas such as training and certification standards, upcoming events, and detailed profiles for over 50 members. I prioritized usability by implementing a clear navigation structure and thoughtful layout. Specifically, on the K9 team member pages, I ensured that team members were easy to navigate but thoughtfully displayed with individual pages for each member. Large galleries made photos both engaging and easy for viewers to appreciate. A custom-built carousel allowed users to navigate from one member's page to the next with ease. My design incorporated the organization's existing colors of blue, black, and orange. I worked to incorporate these colors while maintaining easy readability on high-information pages. The overall result is a cohesive site that aligns with the association’s mission and the needs of its audience.
